Pre Professional Studies Hero

Pre-professional means that students would like to prepare for a specific career. It's a set of courses that each student should take if they plan on taking the exam and entering law or medical school after graduation. It is important to note that a pre-professional plan is not a major, it’s a path. Most students major in an area that will complement their career choice.

Pre-Professional Studies

While choosing a Pre-Professional program and completing the plan does not guarantee admission into a professional program, the designed curriculum does help Capital students gain the knowledge and skills needed for their future careers. Students have the option of choosing a Pre-Health, Pre-Law, or Pre-Seminary path. A Pre-Professional path is a set of courses that students should take if they plan on taking the exam and entering Law school, or medical school, after they graduate. At Capital, faculty work directly with students to guide them through their academic career and prepare them for their futures. Faculty serve as academic advisors, mentors, and are the biggest advocates for their students.
